Tell Aldus what you do and upload your customer list. Your first issue is written, designed and ready to review in fourteen minutes.

Your first issue is free. No card needed.

Start from your kind of business

A dental practice An accountancy firm A lettings agency A physiotherapy clinic A law firm A consultancy

Your customers aren't ignoring you. They've forgotten you.

Someone used you in March. They were happy. They'd use you again, and they'd recommend you.

They just haven't thought about you since.

That's what a newsletter fixes, and it's why every marketing person you've ever spoken to told you to start one. It's also why you didn't. Not because it's hard to send an email, but because someone has to decide what goes in it, every single month, forever.

Aldus is the someone.

This is what yours looks like.

Researched, written and designed in fourteen minutes. You read it and press send.

Issue #7 · Drafted by Aldus, approved by the practice

Three changes coming in April that affect every sole trader on our books

We've had the same question four times this month, so here it is properly. The thresholds move in April, the reporting deadline moves with them, and if you invoice through a limited company there's one change worth acting on before the end of March rather than after...

This month
What the threshold change actually costs you
From the team
We've moved to a new booking system

Written by Aldus · Read and approved by you

Three steps. Fourteen minutes. Then it runs itself.

No templates. No drag-and-drop editor. You approve, Aldus does the rest.

01

Tell Aldus about your business

Paste your website. Aldus works out what you do, who your customers are, and how you talk about it.

~2 minutes
02

Upload your customer list

A CSV from your CRM, your booking system, or the spreadsheet on the shared drive. Aldus cleans it, removes duplicates and handles the unsubscribe rules for you.

~2 minutes
03

Approve and send

Aldus researches your industry, writes the issue, makes the images and picks the send time. You read it, change anything you don't like, and press send.

~2 minutes

Then it does it again next month without being asked.

“We're not interesting enough to have a newsletter.”

Almost every business thinks this. Almost every business is wrong about it. Your customers don't want a magazine. They want to know what's changed in the thing you're expert in, what you've been working on, and what they should be thinking about this month. You know all of that already. You just don't have time to write it down.

“We'd have nothing to say.”

Aldus reads hundreds of sources in your industry every cycle and brings back what actually matters to your customers. You approve the angle, it writes the issue.

“It'll look like AI wrote it.”

It'll look like your business wrote it, because Aldus learns from your website, your services and your last twenty issues. You're the editor. Nothing goes out that you haven't read.

“We'll end up in spam.”

Aldus sends through Resend with proper SPF and DKIM authentication on your own domain, handles bounces automatically and suppresses complaints.

“We haven't got time.”

Fourteen minutes to set up. A few minutes a month after that.

Everything a marketing team would do.

Nothing you have to do.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started.

We've never sent a newsletter. Is this going to be a lot of work?
Fourteen minutes to set up and a few minutes a month after that. You're approving, not writing.
Where do I get subscribers from?
You almost certainly already have them. Export contacts from your CRM, booking system, invoicing software or the spreadsheet you keep customers in, and upload the CSV. Aldus deduplicates and validates as it imports. Your signup page then collects new ones on its own.
Can we send to customers who haven't opted in?
You'll need a lawful basis for marketing email. In the UK that usually means either consent or the soft opt-in for existing customers who bought something similar from you. Aldus adds the unsubscribe handling and record-keeping, but the decision about who's on your list is yours. If you're unsure, talk to whoever handles your data protection.
Will it sound like us?
Aldus learns from your website first, then from every issue you edit. Most businesses find issue five noticeably closer than issue one. You can rewrite any section or just tell Aldus what to change.
Do we have to send every month?
No. Skip an issue, change frequency, or pause entirely. Nothing sends without you approving it.
What about email deliverability?
Aldus sends through Resend, with proper SPF and DKIM authentication on your custom domain, automatic bounce handling and complaint processing. We monitor sender reputation and automatically suppress problematic addresses to keep your deliverability high.
What if we already use Mailchimp?
Keep it if it's doing a job. Aldus is for the part Mailchimp doesn't solve, which is deciding what to say and writing it. Import your Mailchimp list and carry on.
Who owns the content?
You do. Every issue, every image. Full commercial rights, and you can export everything at any time.
What happens if we cancel?
You keep access to the end of the billing period, and your list and archive stay exportable. We don't hold your contacts hostage.
