You set your tone, voice, and style preferences during onboarding, and Aldus matches them from issue one. The self-improving experiment engine then fine-tunes what works based on real reader engagement data.

Can I edit before it sends?

Absolutely. You're the editor-in-chief, not a passenger. Aldus drafts every issue and presents it for your review. You can edit any section directly, chat with Aldus to request changes, or approve it as-is. Nothing sends without your explicit approval.

What about email deliverability?

Aldus uses Amazon SES, the same infrastructure behind Netflix, Reddit, and Duolingo's emails. You get proper SPF and DKIM authentication with your custom domain, automatic bounce handling, and complaint processing.

Can I import my existing subscribers?

Yes. You can import subscribers via CSV upload with their email, name, and any custom fields. Aldus automatically handles deduplication and validates email addresses during import.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of your billing period. Your subscriber list, all past issues, and your public newsletter archive remain accessible. You can export everything at any time.

Who owns the content Aldus creates?

You do. Every newsletter, image, and piece of content Aldus generates belongs entirely to you. You have full commercial rights to republish, repurpose, or redistribute anything created through the platform.
