What You Can Do with Slack + Aldus

  • Approve AI-drafted newsletters with a single click in Slack
  • Get notified when an issue crosses open-rate or click-rate thresholds
  • Post every published issue to a public Slack channel
  • Alert the team when a high-value subscriber unsubscribes

How the Integration Works

1

Install the Aldus Slack app

One-click OAuth install from your Aldus dashboard. Pick which channels Aldus can post to.

2

Configure your alerts

Choose what to route to Slack — drafts needing approval, publish confirmations, analytics milestones, unsubscribes, or replies.

3

Approve from Slack

Drafts appear as rich Slack messages with Approve / Edit / Reject buttons. Approving publishes the issue; editing opens the draft in Aldus.

4

Stay in flow

Your team keeps working in Slack. Aldus handles the newsletter publishing in the background.

Why Slack Works Better with Aldus

Zero context-switching for approvals

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I approve issues with interactive buttons?

Yes. Every draft posted to Slack includes Approve, Edit, and Reject buttons. Clicking Approve publishes the issue; Edit opens a deep link to Aldus; Reject requeues the draft with a comment.

Does it work with Microsoft Teams or Discord?

Teams and Discord integrations are on the roadmap. Today, you can achieve similar results by pairing Aldus with Zapier or a webhook to Teams/Discord.

Can I limit who can approve?

Yes. In Aldus, you can restrict approval permissions to specific team members. In Slack, you can further restrict the channel where approval messages are posted.
