Does Aldus take a cut of my Stripe revenue?
No. Aldus charges a flat platform fee. Every dollar your subscribers pay flows directly to your Stripe account — minus Stripe's standard processing fees (2.9% + 30¢ in the US).
Can I import existing paid subscribers?
Yes. If you already have paid subscribers on Substack, Ghost, or Beehiiv, you can export your subscriber list and paid status. Aldus maps each to the right tier in Stripe automatically.
What happens if a subscriber's card fails?
Stripe retries failed payments on a schedule (Smart Retries). If all retries fail, the subscriber is automatically downgraded to the free tier and notified by email.
